Hey @angrylozenger you sound like you've become very self-aware of what romance has appeared as in your life. It seems like you're also aware of things that you don't want in your own experiences, but it's also hard because you also may not have many romantic role models? Is there anyone who you do look up to in relationships?

It's really heartening to hear that you do feel comfortable with him, and I wouldn't say that it's a bad thing that you want to confirm some other bits of information. Would it be fair to say that if you found out that one of these things was a red flag, you wouldn't want to date him at all? How do you think your connection would go if you decided not to for any reason, and would you be okay with that too?
