A lot of my friends also have this concern about having kids in our generation and bringing them up in the future that our world is heading in and I think they are completely valid concerns to have and I actually encorauge people to have a think about it instead of just assuming the norm of bringing in kids into this world. There is no right answer to that and it's always up to the individual and their partner whether or not having a kid is a right thing for them and your parents need to learn to respect your choices and decisions.

Do your parents understand the reason for you not wanting to have kids?
