Hi @Anonymous , fellow book lover here! I think subthread on books relating to anxiety is a great idea! I'll definitely be sure to check out Reasons to Stay Alive, it sounds like to was a real gamechanger for you. What kind of reasons to keep going resonated with you the most? Is suicidal ideation something that you still experience now? 

 

I've just started reading a book that's pretty relevant to this chat...it's called Anxiety 😂 It's written by Dr Mark Cross, who is a psychiatrist that has lived experience of anxiety himself. I watched him in Changing Minds on ABC and he is my absolute idol, and one of the many reasons that I decided to study psychology after years of my own experiences with mental health conditions. I'll keep you updated on how the book is once I get a bit further in!
