Hi @Fern_Mink, firstly I just wanted to acknowledge how cool is it that you are travelling around the country. It’s also really great to hear that you are finding that this experience is bringing you closer to your friends!  

Secondly, it sounds like you are having a lot of fun chatting with this girl. Talking with someone you like can be really exciting. I hear your dilemma about whether or not to ask her out while you’re away. It sounds like your friend may have raised a helpful suggestion, I too am wondering if asking the girl how she is feeling may help you make your decision? While those conversations can be super daunting, they are usually really helpful for getting a better picture of where the other person stands. At the same time, I wouldn’t feel too pressured to change things if you are happy with how things are going at the moment 😊 Perhaps checking out this article may be worth the read.
