Support for the LGBTQIA+ Community

Hello lovely people,

Pride Fanshawe Falcons GIF by Fanshawe College

How are we all? There's been lots of media coverage of really distressing events affecting the LGBTQIA+ community recently, and we wanted to make sure you are all feeling supported here. 🌈

ReachOut will always nurture a safe space for our queer community members to talk openly about the issues they face, as well as sharing experiences of pride, joy and euphoria of being your authentic self 🏳️‍🌈

We encourage you to share how you're feeling in the comments below. You might like to share :

1. Your pronouns and what parts of the LGBTQIA+ community you feel connected to?

2. Something you've been struggling with or have seen in the media recently that has been upsetting?

3. What gives you queer joy! It might be a movie you watched, or a Pride event you attended, or changing your look to better fit your identity - we want to hear it all, no matter how big or small it may seem 💗
