Hi @Yukiluna !
I know this post was made last Thursday but I just wanted to check up on you! How are you holding up so far?
I can really relate to your position right now! I finished uni last October and started looking for jobs within my field at the end of January this year but so far I haven't been able to find any paying jobs within my field 😅. I don't know if this is applicable to you in any way, but I've been doing volunteering work (related to my field) to help me get some experience. I found that it helped to lift my spirits a bit knowing that I was still practising some of the skills that I've learnt.
I also really feel you when you mentioned that you felt pressured and discouraged about not being able to break into the industry you want compared to your peers. I've found myself comparing myself to my friends many times so far and it can really suck at times. To help myself remain optimistic, I find that going on forums on Reddit etc. where others are in a similar situation helps me to set a more realistic perception of what post-uni job search is like.
I also want to echo what @ayrc_1904 has mentioned because I feel that they have worded it really well. It's natural to feel that we have set and linear stages in life, and that if these "stages" don't follow from one to the next smoothly to feel like we have "failed" in some way. Please know that you're not alone in feeling this way and many graduates go through these similar thoughts and feelings.
Also as everyone else have already mentioned, your passion and dedication to reaching your dream career is super admirable!! Keep going!! We got this!!
Please feel free to come back and vent anytime you want! We're all here for you!
