I thought it would be fun to share about interesting/nice kinds of food we've had in Australia. What made them memorable?
I'll start:
Fish tacos from the Shakespeare Hotel in Sydney!
Unfortunately, I can't find good pictures of them. When I first tried them though, I was surprised by how well the flavors blended together. The pickled jalapeno, red cabbage, tomato, and fish created a really nice slightly spicy, slightly sour, somewhat crunchy, somewhat umami experience. Definitely recommend trying!
Another interesting and nice kind of food is mochi mocha ice cream from kurin ice cream bar in Burwood. I was really pleasantly surprised by how well the thin layer of mochi wrapped around the ice cream and how well the taste and texture blended together!
