Staying safe at schoolies
Schoolies is a memorable and fun experience, all about celebrating the end of school with your mates, meeting new people and finally relaxing after exams. You want to make it as great of an experience as possible, so here’s a couple tips for how to keep it safe.
Some schoolies essentials include:
- Sunscreen
- Snacks and local food delivery options
- Fun and games
- Protection if you plan to have sex
- Knowing your accommodation address and having some extra cash just in case
- Having a well-lit, central location where you can recoup if something goes wrong
- Looking after yourself
If you need someone to look after you, Red Frogs volunteers are at a number of popular schoolies destinations.
Also remember: if one of your friends has taken alcohol or drugs and you’re worried about them, don’t hesitate to call 000. They’re here to keep you safe above anything else.
