@delicatedreamer I had the same feeling when I changed from medicine to psychology, and it can really hold you back! In the end though you have to think about what is best for you

Hi @lanejane ! I definitely agree about listening to yourself. Once you find yourself doing what you love, everything seems to work out

Do you (or did you) have a plan for after year 12? What can you do to help make it happen?
I did have a plan! To do medicine specifically, but I panicked at the last minute and decided to do psychology on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! In hindsight I'm aware that I'm pretty lucky to have chosen something that fit so well.
Right now my plan is to graduate with honours (hopefully!) and take some time off to figure out what I want to do in the future

@delicatedreamer I practice mindfulness too!! It's great for forgetting about future worries and just being in the moment

@AndrewMorley what if things didn't go to plan for you in year 12? What were you going to do instead of engineering? As in did you have a back up plan?

I pretty much planned to recover from year 12 right after! Didn't have a great time and I really need to just take a step back and breath 🙂
