Weekly Wellbeing: Old Faves!
Weekly Wellbeing: Old Faves 🙂
Hey guys!
This week's Wellbeing activity is going to involve sharing some of our fave things!
I reckon there's just some things that -9 times out of 10- make you feel warm fuzzies every time you think about or remember them!
It can be a super cheesy movie, songs you used to listen to 24/7, or a book you read over and over again as a kid! Some things just put a huge grin on your face, and I thought it could be super wholesome to share some of them with each other here!
Do you have any books or movies that make you happy or laugh out loud?
Are there any songs that are super nostalgic or feelgood for you? Why?
A movie that I really love and have watched a million times is Legally Blonde. I don't know why, but it always puts me in a really good mood and gives me a giggle every time 😛 (plus i get super motivated to study )
What about you guys?

@ecla34 I love Legally Blonde too! I saw a local production of the musical too. The tickets were really cheap, but it ended up being great value. They really put on a great show!
@Janine-RO I saw the Powderfinger concert too! I wasn't much of a fan of Powderfinger back when they were popular, but I watched the show with a family member who loves them and it was awesome.
Hairspray Live is on this weekend on YouTube. I've already watched that production but I watched the whole thing again! I think the messages are really relevant for the world right now and it's a pretty feel-good musical.
Something I have been trying to do while staying at home is trying to finally finish reading The Count of Monte Cristo. It's taken me many years to finish reading it because it is so long (it was originally released as a serial and I'm reading the unabridged version). I don't get bored of reading it though and I really like the story. I didn't know it was based on actual events until today.
One movie that makes me happy is The Lego Movie! I thought it was going to silly when I watched it in cinemas, but I ended up loving it. Whenever it is on TV, I get excited. I watch it when I need cheering up. It still makes me laugh.
@WheresMySquishy the Lego movie was so lovely wasn't it!! I went in with zero expectations and really loved it - gotta love it when that happens!
@WheresMySquishy I had a bit of an idea from previews and when I saw the lego movie I loved it! I watched 2, but like the first better. I also got the game on my laptop through steam, and I've loved playing it - so much fun! 😄

one of my old fave tv shows is the saddle club and all saints but they don't make the tv shows anymore but I can buy them on ebay!
not really an old fave but I do love criminial minds, greys anatomy, mrs browns boys, modern family and the big bang theory.
I do love music but I cant really think of any old faves 🤷♀️
Aw, I love this idea @ecla34 ! There's something so great about those old favourites, it's like a warm blankie for the soul! And I definitely think we can all use some wholesome goodness in our lives.
I have a couple:
Old episodes of scrubs just do it for me every time - it's such a perfect mix of comedy and feels and silliness and heart, and I love revisiting it! Amazing soundtrack too.
Zach Braff and Donald Faison have been doing a podcast in lockdown,
where they chat through all of the old episodes with other cast/writers, and it's all just quite lovely.
I've also seen the Lord of The Rings movies a million times, there's something about them that just give me all of the feels.
Legally blonde is such a great movie @ecla34 , I haven't seen it in forever - you've inspired me to try and watch it again soon!
I also saw the Powderfinger : One Night Lonely livestream on the weekend, and it brought back so many good memories. I saw them live a lot of times and I'd forgotten how much I liked them- plus they raised about $400 000 for support act and beyond blue. So good!
