What are small steps that you can take each day to make sure you keep your life on track and balanced?
Planning is a great skill to have but I find that commitment to something I have no passion about or am not interested in is hard so even if I do plan I end up not sticking to it.
I think when you get angry, frustrated or upset talking to someone that can help is very good. There's one teacher that I will talk to sometimes that has sent me to other people that have been able to help.
I think not worrying about small things may also help because we do have one life and we should live it to the best of our abilities which may be hard at times but being grateful for the small things in life can change your attitude greatly and motivate you to do things you never believed you could do.

What small steps can you take to make sure your life is balanced?
- Making a list of things that need to be done, and crossing them off as i go- this helps me get everything done, and seeing that list all crossed off is probably one of the most satisfying things ever
- Making sure I get enough sleep every night, this is different for everyone, not everyone needs the same amount of sleep, for me 8 hours is the perfect amount to keep me running the next day
- Making sure I love what I do, love what I study and enjoy the work that I do, because this way—they’re not chores, or items I have to “get through”, instead they are things I enjoy
- 30-60 minutes of exercise everyday is easier said than done-but if you can do even just the smallest amount of exercise you’ll feel so much better for having done so—it is definitely a great way to combat stress

What small steps can you take to make sure your life is balanced?- Using checklists (secret here - i like to add things onto it that i have already done so i feel like i have accomplished something when i start, lol)
- Getting a good sleep, which I struggle a lot with
- Eating well even when i have limited time, doing my best to get some fruit and vegies in me!

@bessie94 I try to take on big steps that seem small. Or maybe they are small. I don't know. As I said my school's in the process of sending me to a psychologist so I'll see how that goes.- Mark as New

Finding balance means looking after you. Whats something you do to treat yourself to calm down/unwind during a stressful week?
Personally, I am very big on me-time. Some time where I get to treat myself, time where I can unwind from my busy schedule. I’ve started to do yoga once a week and I’ve found its been a great outlet to calm myself down as it enables me to have some much needed downtime has my weeks are quite hectic.
As I mentioned earlier, I do enjoy myself some quality screen time. Binge-watching TV is also a way I like to spend my me-time to relax and treat myself—I do this far too often though lol

I like to play footy since it helps me forget everything and become a totally different person. I also enjoy drumming because both of these activities take a lot of focus and all my energy goes into them.
This is also why I find it hard to unwind because I can't really do those things much when people are home which is most of the time. Weirdly enough I kinda enjoy School because you get to hang around people your age and socialise which is a great break from classes.
Sorry I'm late btw. Had a late dinner.

@FootyFan26 Awesome stuff! It's great you have such a positive attitude about school, it makes finding balance that little bit easier if you enjoy the things you do! 🙂

The socialising part of school anyway since I'm not very social at all outside of school except for footy it's a familiar and safe place. I have problems with most parts of School anyway since I get angry quite often I've been sent to a whole lot of people and they're in the process of sending me to a psychologist.
I guess it's just being able to be myself out on the footy field is the best thing for me. It's away from all the adults too so there's a whole lot of freedom. Since I've had to miss out on training for various things I've gotten more frustrated easily. That just goes to show how important balance is.
