That's so cool @ryvb3! I love Disneyland! I've been to the ones in Paris and Tokyo 😄

originally posted on 22-06-2015 8:42 PM

@florenceforever I didn't know they had Disneyland in Paris and Tokyo! I went to one in Hong Kong. Although most of the rides there were kiddie rides, I enjoyed this train we took which showed you all the parts of Disneyland.

I think my least favourite thing about travelling is going on the plane. Especially when the plane is full and there is little room for you to stretch out your legs when you want to go to sleep. 🙂

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of flying @ryvb3 - I just find it soooooo boring!!

Q4. What is the best holiday you’ve been on so far?

Last year I did an amazing trip to Europe - Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, France, England and Wales

It was really cool because I went to different places with different family members and friends, so it broke it all up a bit.

@florenceforever that sounds amazing!

My Europe trip was Switzerland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia and Italy. Belgium and Slovakia and Slovenia was only for lunch! It was such an amazing trip!!

So cool @N1ghtW1ng! I'm thinking of going back next year and going to countries I haven't been to yet. I definitely want to get to Croatia, Greece and Portugal!

@j95 that sounds awesome! In Australia, I've been to Dubbo NSW, Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast. My family was kind of spread out in Australia, so when we moved to QLD, we visited NSW often and once I visited Melbourne because I had an aunt there.

Now that I think about it, I realise I have done quite a bit of travelling.

Sounds like such a cool trip @j95! I would love to see more of Australia. I've been to all the capital cities, but that's about it.

Wow guys, it sounds like we've all collectively pretty much covered the world - how cool!

Question 5. Why do you think people like to travel so much?

originally posted on 22-06-2015 8:58 PM

I think people like to travel often because it's new experiences and seeing new places. But also as a break from their normal lives.

originally posted on 22-06-2015 8:58 PM

I think people like to reavel because they see it as an escape and time to realx and chill out by themselves or with friends.  Being open to new cultures and experiences could also be one.

Why do you think people like to travel so much?

WHERE do i begin?

I think people travel for the new and unique experiences. You experience things you would never experience from your usual day to day settings. So much greatness 😄

Definitely @Troy! I love that the experiences can be so unexpected as well 🙂

it was a quick trip though if i had more time i'd spend a lot more time in each place, some of those places i hardly got to see.

You guys all seem like big travelers. Am I the only one that isn't so keen?

originally posted on 22-06-2015 8:53 PM

@FootyFan26 I was not a keen traveler. Very much a stay-at-home kind of person. And then I went on exchange. And then I went on the Europe trip. I wouldn't say I'm a big traveler, but I don't think I can say I'm a stay-at-home person.
@florenceforever Greece! Yes! As a fan of greek mythology, I so wanted to go there! (going to Rome was amazing! To see the mythology there)
@OrangeOliver wow, that sounds a little tough, being stuck in a caravan with family but it does sound great too! For the Europe trip, we were around 80 students with two buses. Thankfully, I had two seats to myself so I could stretch out.

I think it's perfectly normal to not be incredibly keen on traveling @FootyFan26

I actually burnt myself out of traveling last year. I went on 45 flights last year and by the end of it I was incredibly sick and tired of it.
