Skateboarding
I like making threads about my hobbies and fun things I like to do because it might encourage other people to try it and also I like talking about it.
So this one is for skateboarding.
if you like skating too, awesome, maybe share what tricks you can or cool places you've been, otherwise this is like an AMAA about skateboarding 😛
It's cool @j95 i found one that goes on train tracks, so just build that

@Ben-RO Ah awesome!! Worked out i can build it in my yard if we get rid of .... everything! Even the BBQ and once it's in it's in. time to find a new spot to build this
There used to be these big concrete drains in the town i used to live in. Someone was very naughty and modified a section of it to be more like a half-pipe. Not that i endorse this idea in any way... it's just a thing that happened
I don't do much skateboarding anymore, but my friend and I used to skateboard down to the local skatepark and muck around. I would just go down small hills and try to steer. I was pretty unco on the skateboard, haha. I probably spent more time going down a hill on my stomach and sitting on the skateboard than standing. It was fun though. And when I was younger and more confident on the skateboard, my neighbour taught me to jump the skateboard to slide along a bar. I could actually do it as a kid. No chance now!!!!

When I did it I used to feel
- light
- focused
- free 
Freedom, and I feel like I can be myself around other people who skate and also just having the wind behind you and all that feels dam good

Yeah I reckon maybe the culture, it's always been quite crew focused. Have you seen the docco dogtown and z boys? If not it is a MUST for you 🙂 I have to log off now, but let me know if you watch it and what you think @j95
Yesssss I have not been there yet but I definitely will soon. Have you been? @j95 You know where I did go once, the globe HQ in port melbourne I went in and had a look at the skatebowl in there..pretty cool. Imagine working in an office with a skate bowl
