the only tip I have for this problem is that use quality products to make sure that skin glow more and beautiful. she is so inspired by their beauty products. i think you  must visit that and check their herbal and beauty products and their descriptions. you'll also find it good for you.
stay safe
bye

Hi @Rose-RO, living with acne has definitely been a huge struggle for me.

What really helped me to live with bad skin was the support of my partner. Everyone around me was always suggesting me to do this and that, despite it never working. My partner was always there to tell me 'it's ok' and that the opinions of others shouldn't affect me.  I was always really insecure about myself, but he was always able to build up my confidence - I would forget that I have acne, until someone brings it up.

First and foremost: Healthy Diet!

I eat lots of fruits and salads and drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. I also actively avoid oily and spicy stuff.

I think it’s always a good idea to choose a natural face wash for a normal skin type. I use  Aloe Natural face Wash as it is made with 100% pure Aloe Vera gel. Aloe has exceptional qualities when it comes to skin. It’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory nature makes it perfect for acne prone skin. The face wash’s deep cleanse ensures that there are no dead cells or left over make up clogging up hair follicles on my face. (hah, yes I research my skin care products thoroughly!). My experience with the face wash has been very good and my skin is healthier now than before.

Another one of my must do skin care rules is to ensure I follow the CTM routine - Cleansing, Toning and moisturising. My friends tell me I am obsessive, but I am just very particular about my skin, can’t help it!

Hi @akshaysoap thank you for posting and sharing your tips, it's always good to hear from others experiences and also advisable to chat to health professionals for any particular skin conditions. Just letting you know I have sent you an email also 🙂

hi @Rose-RO

great topic!

for me i have bad skin, and stress doesnt help me one bit.

what i find helps me, it also helps clear acne in a way too is to keep to a cleansiing routine.

i have acne washes and use those after ive cleansed in the shower and also after a shower i have these wipes- they are by clearasil and you leave it on and helps to clear the clogs.

i use these morning and night as they are super easy to use and only takes an added minute or two in the bathroom

does your acne bother you or affect your confidence? I want to try and get more of a perspective on how you deal with it day to day 🙂

Wow thank you for sharing that @scared01! Maybe we should make a thread for people who are dealing with acne, or other things that have an impact on their self-confidence. Is that something you would like to help with?

Hmm welll this thread is more for the article, so we can definitely get a bunch of tips, but it miiiight not be as useful in like 3 or 4 years! Also we need a space for supporting as well as sharing tips. Anyway, if you're keen i'd love you to make a thread, but you don't have to 🙂

Hey guys!

Thanks for starting this thread Roseanna, such an important topic.

I know when I dealt with acne, it was really important for me to remember that lots of other people were experiencing the same thing. Once I started treating it I actually took a selfie every couple of weeks and it was encouraging to see the improvement.

Really interested to hear if you guys have any other ways of living with bad skin that makes you feel better about it 🙂

I was lucky enough to see a dermatologist, and they got me to simplify my skincare routine. A lot of it is just waiting though, usually it will get better in time.

Yeah a progress shot! I found it was helpful for me. I also tried to be a lot more gentle on myself and notice the things I did like about myself.

oh id never thought of going to see a dermatologist either @Mel-RO

i think i might look into that to reduce some it  and be better able to manage it as well.

It's definitely a good option to try out @scared01 ðŸ™‚ I saw one when I had really bad acne and whilst they didn't do much for me personally, I know of people who saw one and had great results!

Little things everyone can do is changing your pillow case every night, washing your face morning and night and limiting the amount of soft drink.

With living with acne/bad skin, my tip would be just to accept it and focus on the things you can do to help control it, and try not worry about what you can not control.

🙂
