TW: Scared about my weight

Tomorrow I go to the doctors for a weigh in and I'm sick with worry that it will be too low and I'll have to go to hospital. All my life I've been underweight (mostly because I was born 2 months early) but recently I have especially found it hard to keep it on. If this happens I'll be stuck in hospital over Christmas and it'll ruin everything for my family.

hi @Blurryphaced
i can understand your concerns so i wish you well at the drs today however they will also take into account that youve struggled with weight for a long time and they can put in long term place things like seeing a dietician to help gain abit more but healthily and other resources as well. you can express your concerns about going to hospital and that you need longer term supports instead..

Hey @Blurryphaced, it sounds like you're pretty worried about your weight and not being able to spend Christmas with your family if you're in hospital. I can imagine that this is a pretty distressing thought 😞 . Did you have any self-care or relaxation techniques that could help ease your mind or distract you of your worry? There are a bunch of good ideas in this thread here ❤️

Also, just giving you a heads up that I had to edit the title of your post and some details that you included. Due to the community guidelines, we avoid graphic details or information, including stuff that relates to weight, as it can trigger other users

@TOM-RO Thank you for your response 🙂 I checked out the thread you shared, there are a lot of good ideas there! Also just wanted to apologise for going against guidelines, at the time of writing the post I didn't realise how it could hurt others.

That's no worries @Blurryphaced 🙂 We all make mistakes sometimes! Just as long as we can learn and move forward from them Heart

I am glad you found the links helpful too!
