I smiled because...

It only takes 17 muscles to smile but 43 to frown

Smiling is infectious,
You can catch it like the flu.
Someone smiled at me today,
And I started smiling too.

Did you smile today? Tell us why

I'll start

Today I smiled because I was talking with my mum about past memories 🙂

I smiled because on my walk this morning I saw a bird taking a bath in a big puddle. A little silver lining to come out of the recent rainy weather 🙂

When I caught up with my older brother last night for the first time in about a year we went to the shops to get food, we walked into Coles and both started chuckling at a guy wearing sneans.. Which is really mean but made me smile because I realised that even though we are both so different, we are both bad people hahaha

I smiled today, because I could openly talk about my past- without becoming an emotional wreck. 10/10

I get ham off the bone for my dogs every single day (only the best of course) and they even know the sound of me unwrapping it and stand at the back door waiting, made me smile today

I smiled because Odin (our puppy, 7 months old now) was sitting outside the door, AFTER I'd put him in the garage. He'd knocked out the cat door 😛

@lokifish yep, same, it essentially functions as an extended metaphor for my life. I got some delish Chicken tikka masala and rice yesterday from a particular place that does the most authentic stuff!

That's so cute @CICI my little sister, 6, doesn't say much at all, ever without a lot of assistance and even then it's just usually basic stuff like hello, but she can recite the whole of The Hungry Catterpillar over and over and over, for hours.
