Sometimes, writing our thoughts down on paper can be super therapeutic! Maybe it’s something you’ve already told someone about or maybe it’s something you’re keeping to yourself but feel like you need to get it out somewhere, somehow… journaling could be the answer!
I personally find journaling such a therapeutic thing to do when I want to just vent but have nobody to vent to, or on the opposite end, if I want to reflect on the things that made me happy that day.
Journaling can slow you down and force you to really write out your thoughts and rationalize them carefully. It puts everything that might seem super messy in your head, onto a clean new page for you to see in plain sight. It can also be a super helpful way to track your progress and see how far you’ve come since the first time you started keeping a journal.
I also love to think of 3 things I’m grateful for each day. If you journal it every day, on a day that’s getting you down, you can look back and read about all the little things you have to be grateful for. Some things I am grateful for are my SO, my family, my friends, the yummy food I ate today, my faith and the weather (rainy or sunny- we need a balance of both ^_^)

So with all of that said, for this week’s wellbeing activity
- Write down 3 things you’re grateful for (can also just be in mind map form)
- Write down anything you think needs to get out of your head and chucked onto a piece of paper (anything you need to vent about, are worried about, are stressed about)
- And reflect on this question- what good things could journaling do for you? After doing the activity, did you find it helpful? Was it more therapeutic to write out your worries on paper or write out the things you were grateful for?
