Hi all,
I’m writing to share some news- after almost 2.5 years with ReachOut, I’m going to be finishing up with ReachOut in a few weeks, and heading to a new role with SANE Australia.
This is a really hard message to write, I’ve absolutely loved my time here and it’s been such a joy being part of this community!! It’s a really special part of the internet - seeing so many amazing people being willing to share their stories to help other people, and the generosity, compassion, friendship and resilience you all show is truly amazing.
I’ve loved taking part in the events, chats, games, and using more GIFs than I’ve ever done in my life- but more than anything, I’ve loved being able to get to know so many people here- especially our amazing community volunteers. The power of sharing your lived experience and walking alongside other people in their journey is an incredible thing, and I know I have learned so much from all of you. You’ve all touched more lives than you probably know, and I can’t wait to see what you do in the future!
I also wanted to say a huge thank you to the amazing RO team, especially @Bre-RO , @Philippa-RO , @Portia_RO @Iona_RO and @Erin_RO . You've been the most awesome colleagues and friends, and I know that there's only amazing things ahead for the community!
