Mental Health Resources in your First Language

Navigating the world of mental health support can be confusing and overwhelming, especially when faced with the extra challenge of not finding resources in your or your parents’ first language. We want to break down some of those barriers so it’s easier for you to find the support you deserve.

Introducing Embrace and Transcultural Mental Health Care – these platforms offer a wide range of translated mental health information about different mental health challenges, how to get help and where to find it. These support services are designed to make accessing information easier and help start conversations about well-being with your friends, family and community.

Starting a conversation about mental health can be hard, so here are some tips on how to open a discussion about your mental health with family, check out our article “How to talk to your parents about your well-being”.

If you’d like to share your story or tips for how to navigate conversations about mental health with family, we’d love to read it in the comments 😊
