As someone who has lived with adhd probably their entire life but only has only had a diagnosis for roughly half of that, and is currently an unmedicated adult, this is weirdly accurate

Being told the butter on toast you made for them at 6am, to what seemed to be perfect yesterday, (yep, just butter, I feel like enough has been said already) is burnt and “I don’t like that!”, so I put it on the plate anyway because it’s perfectly fine, and it doesn’t get eaten because “yuck, too toasty”
You can’t get a whiter piece of toast, it’s anemic!! it’s warm bread!!

Ahhh @Saltwaterdreamtime this made me laugh way too much - I had a highly ridiculous conversation with a certain 3 year old who wanted "cold toast, not bread!". it turned out he wanted the bread placed in the toaster and then instantly removed, so that it was in no way actually toasted, but was also no longer bread. I also apparently peeled a banana the wrong way, i didn't even know that was possible??!!
I also feel like being little and breaking into song and dance when the pop of the toaster goes off is pretty bloody awesome hahaha

Ahahahahaha @Saltwaterdreamtime that sandwich meme hit way too close to home - I managed to ruin someone's morning today by giving them toast and jam, when they wanted jam and toast. 3 year olds are hilarious and ridiculous creatures
