I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from. My webchat with Kid's Helpline helped but ultimately, it was my mum who was able to put my mind at ease on this particular matter. ^_^ She was very understanding and knows I wouldn't be into dodgy stuff or anything like that. It was such a relief to talk to her about it, I felt so ashamed but I don't anymore. Especially with you post on top of what my mum said. It's good to know that there are people like yourself who understand where I'm coming from. You hit the nail on the head on what I've been trying to say. The way you put it makes me feel like I'm not crazy or a bad person. I can definitely agree it's exhausting and I feel so worn out at the end of the day trying to process these feelings. The automatic playbook on how to react concept and makes sense to what I have gone through of late.
