Awkward Moments
Hey R.O guys! XD
Let me ask uz a question ==> Have you been in a very awkward moment? I have! Here's a list in fact, share yours any time! ;D Love to hear them!
1) I was randomly looking around the room in SOSE, and just when I looked around I caught a boy full on staring at me, he didn't turn away when I caught him staring at me! It was so uncomfortable that I turned away, I think I blushed LOL!
2) It felt awkward watching a tv show my parents watch alone... Cuz normally I would watch with them. My sister laughed at me when she caught me randoming watching it.
3) When you try to walk past a person and they block your way purposely, that happened to me like always and one day this random guy did this to me apparently knows my name!
4) When you realise people are looking at you alot and talking about you as they point at you.

Had a very awkward moment just now... ran into a building manager for my apartment block and apparently he heard me singing ABBA songs while he was fixing some wall issue outside my unit!!!! I think my face still looks like a tomato 😮

Not sure if you guys remember me from a couple of years ago! It is probably close to 2 years since I last went on R.O.
I miss this place, it has been the best platform to vent out my problems and seek advice from a lovely group of people who I can call my friendly cyber pals! 🙂 This place doesn't feel like a place to seek advice, it feels like a social media network! an awkward moment was last night when i said to my mum “thank you for listening to me” instead of “thank you for dinner” it was so awkward !! especially for me since i said “thank you for listening to me” to a person on lifeline not long before i had dinner...

it was really awkward this afternoon because i didn’t know that trains ran with power lines above...im actually so stupid i just thought they have energy in the train....
oh my gosh those moments of trying to find a seat are so awkward isnt it! or when your late to class and you need to find a seat
haha @litgym ive done that a few times too. awkward responses and met with awkward looks lol
When someone says hello looking at you, and you say hello back, only to realise that they’re on the phone...
When i was 8 i was at our local show and i wanted to buy this cool hat but the guy at the stand kept telling me I shouldn’t buy it and my parents wouldn’t approve. I couldn’t figure out what he was talking about till ten minutes later when i realised the hat had a picture of Mickey Mouse pulling the finger and s**t written on it. I just told him i was going to go get my money and left him there.
that awkward moment you call khl when you have like 5 minutes to get off your bus and usually it takes 5 minutes to reach a counsellor. well no !! i connected instantly and i hang up 😬
Ahh awkward moments...
- I served chips at a school event for 2$ instead of 4$, this ended with a lot of extra math lessons/out of school tutoring. Not fun. But I don't like school so it felt good that I unintentionally ripped them off.
I've got more, I just can't use my brain right now lol.
so just then im was jamming to ‘found my place’ ( @N1ghtW1ng 😍😉 ) really loudly and my dog sitter just walked into our house and she looked at me as i was jamming...awkward, i didn’t even know she was at our door !
i yelled ‘shit’ (maybe shouldn’t have done that) because i forgot to take my medication this morning😬 awks
My Recent Awkward Moments
- Getting on to the university shuttle bus and having the feeling of being watched while I walk inside to find a seat
- That moment when you ran out of ideas of what to talk about to a friend who haven't met for a while
- I thought I saw someone who went to my high school but turns out they were someone who looks so similar to them! I realized this when the tutor addressed them with a different name!
- I have a dress and it is knee length. Somehow, because of the fabric it goes up 😕 So I have to constantly pull it down! How annoying!
- [Okay this was not recent!] When I did this business law unit last year, my tutor was like praising my hair and it was so weird 😕 Considering this tutor was a male and was old enough to be my grandpa! 😮 Fortunately I changed classes haha 😛
Me: sorry I'm working (what type of a landscaper works on a Saturday night haha, lies!)
Them: can you swap the shift
Me: err no
Them: oh dang what time do you finish
Me: 10pm
