Hello fellow forum users,
I just thought that I would sign in for one last time to say goodbye before I age out tomorrow (though I refuse to acknowledge that I am turning 26 tomorrow!). I apologise for not being active on the forums this past but due to health issues I needed to take a step back. I felt that I needed to say a proper goodbye though.
I have loved being a forum moderator over the years and seeing this community grow. I am always so amazed at the love I see on various posts and the forum community is something special.
I remember a couple of years ago logging on after I had a panic attack at TAFE and other users helping me see that I wasn't a failure and that I could get through this. You guys gave me the courage to meet with a careers counsellor on campus and I ended up studying community services which I loved.
ReachOut has played such a big part of my life over the years and while I am stepping back and leaving the forums I hope to never stop being apart of ReachOut and always be involved somehow. Whether that's by fundraising or even just raising awareness of the amazing organisation that is ReachOut.
I also want to say a huge thankyou to the wonderful forum staff and my fellow moderators, I have loved working alongside you over the years and I am so thankful for the friendships I have made. If you have the chance to be a builder or a moderator I highly recommend that you do it, it's an amazing experience and one that is worth taking.
I wish everyone all the best and I hope you are all remembering to take some time out of your day to do some selfcare 🙂
