What are you proud of?
I don't think we've got a 'What are you proud of?' thread on this forum yet so I'd thought I'd start one. This was one of my favourite threads on the old forum 😄
I'm proud that I stayed at uni all day today and didn't skip any classes.
Over to you guys: What are you proud of? 🙂
I'm proud of myself for how well I went for the couple minutes I was standing in liquor this evening so my supervisor could grab change!
An actor who is famous around our town came to our school to do a presentation. In something I would have never done in the past I went up and shook his hand. I said I liked his work and we even had a brief conversation. He later accepted my friend request on Facebook.
A few weeks ago he asked if I would help out with his latest online TV show project and so I'm gonna be on an online TV show as an actor.
And proud of myself for not self harming when I was triggered and upset afterwards.
Calling my Psych and leaving a voicemail message about how angry my psychiatrist has made me! 😄
I'm also proud that I talked to a lot of different people today.
Not freaking out when my Psych said she was busy- 6 months ago, I wouldve screamed 😄
I'm proud that I've been to both of my classes so far this week. 🙂
Now it's only Friday then I have a five day break! 😄
Despite being conciouse of wearing glasses in publice, I self talked myself into wearing my glasses whilest shopping!
I am proud of myself for reaching out for support when I needed it 🙂
Proud that I arranged a time to see the school counsellor.
Proud that I spoke to this teacher and asked her to be my mentor for year12 (I've put it off for long - I was scared to talk to her. Glad I did, though - it made going to her office so much easier)
Proud that I'm eating proper meals regularly
Proud that I'm contributing in class
Proud that I'm trying to write those essays.... 🙂
Proud that I managed to (start and) complete my essay this time around!
Proud that I listened and remembered what my mentor told me about making sure I do my best and for listening to my English teacher
