Hey guys! Hope you're all well on this lovely Monday night! 🙂
To kick us off for the evening, here's the first question:
What does 'productivity' mean to you?
Hello!
What does 'productivity' mean to you?
To me, productivity means doing something that works towards a goal I have previously set out to obtain, e.g. to study a certain thing, to read a certain amount of my book, to clean a certain area of my house, etc. It doesn't alawys mean actual completion of the goal, but rather working up to completing that goal

How to you make the most of your time?
Best productivity tips please! 🙂
What does 'productivity' mean to you?
Hmmm… I guess I'd say productivity to me means being able to achieve the things we want/need to do within a reasonable time frame, and (hopefully) without too much stress!
What does 'productivity' mean to you?
Making the time to do the stuff you plan to do. To me it's the action part of planning.
Seeing as planning has come up...
Is planning a neccesity for good time management? Why/why not?
Is planning a neccesity for good time management? Why/why not?
I think so, why? Well I think it helps you decide what's important and also to notice when you did a thing that you have decided is important too! It's amazing how much we can forget we have done for ourselves, planning a little bit doesn't just help you think about what you want to do, it helps you notice and celebrate what you have already done - I'd note that this is definitely something that i have decided for myself, it might not be something everybody decides to do!
How do I make the most of my time?
I am pretty nerdy, I think about all the things I do and put them in 5 lists.
1. Done.
2. Urgent, important
3. Not Urgent, Important
4. Urgent, Not Important
5. Not Urgent Not Important.
I never do the stuff in 5 😛
@FootyFan26 hey!!! I use a thing called Trello, which i guess is kind of like a table... but also kind of like a list! Basically there's 5 lists all side by side in the app and you can move things between the lists just by dragging and dropping.
Here's a thing that kind of explains where the list idea comes from.
@Randomness yeah I often wish we could change how much time we have in a day. On super slow days we could speed time up and then when we have a million things to do time could be practically frozen. We should get a team of scientists onto that 😛
Why does time 'fly by' when I have so much to do?
I don't know but it sucks when you have an in-class test . Maybe because when you're bored you look at the clock more and that makes you perceive time as being slower.
@Ben-RO My organisational and commitment skills aren't great so I don't use this often but this is how it looks for me:
