Just remember that everyone is in the same situation as you (even if they look super serene on outaide!). Uni is scary, but it's also a really exciting!

@N1ghtW1ng thanks. All done now, now I just have to wait to see if I get accepted

@N1ghtW1ng The internet is a big topic. Ethics can be tough to know what to say because it isn't black or white and there isn't 1 right or wrong answer. At the same time you can use that as it gives you more scope and can make it more of a discussion without having to worry so much about getting it "right or wrong". Also, you mentioned it's a group assignment, so discuss and share ideas with your group mates.
N1ghtW1ngPosted 15-09-2016 11:45 AM
@khaleesi_18 haha yeah. I hope I do though. I am going to wait until after the group assignment next week though, that way I'll have no pressing assignments to worry about.
N1ghtW1ngPosted 15-09-2016 10:59 AM
Good luck with that assignment @Super_Me! I hate those difficult ones 😛
I still have another blog post to do by tomorrow. Luckily for me though aside from the post and one other group project (god of group aasignments, help me! :P) I have all my assignments due in October 😄 I have a little under a month to prepare (or constantly procrastinate and do nothing until it's too late).

@N1ghtW1ng penalties start 1 second after the submission time, and it's automatically 10% down, how lucky was I to get it in!!!!! Because it's all online it's done by time strictly, but I think if my tutor is nice she would have helped me out, but lucky either way haha
N1ghtW1ngPosted 24-08-2016 09:50 PM
I hope you get good marks on your assignment @Craycray17! So awesome that you got it in right on the mark. How does your uni do late-submissions? Is there a certain time when the penalty starts? Sometimes you might get away with a few minutes over. But I don't know what your uni is like.
Craycray17Posted 24-08-2016 09:04 PM
I submitted an assignment literally on the second it was due today. It wasn't totally ready though unfortunately, but the late penalty is worse than the over-the-word-count penalty so it hopefully is okay!

Hope everyones Monday went well, I didn't get too much work done today due to feeling unwell. Lets hope Tuesday is better 🙂

@lokifish studying on transit is hard, especially because of the quality, although that good just be me 😛 Once you settle into the routine, hopefully it'll become easier. Maybe still a bit annoying, but a time to chill and take a break from thigs by listening to music and playing games.
This semester of uni is killing me. I have two group assignments, the units are kind of stressful and anger me(for some reason) and I am failing at paying attention and keeping focused, completely and utterly failing. But hey, it's only week two! Fingers crossed things get better. Although I did skip both my lectures this week... Ah well. One is recorded and the other was too early.

@lokifish that's so annoying, how long have you been at the current campus? It will be a bit of a change up, do you know if there is a call line that is dedicated to helping out students with this move?
Craycray17Posted 06-08-2016 04:52 PM
Thats very true, @N1ghtW1ng. It is different for everyone, maybe there is a way that works better for you!
What are some different ways you think you can get to know someone in your tutes?

I'm remembering why I disliked uni again. No friends, not even company. Oh well.
Craycray17Posted 03-08-2016 06:15 PM
How is uni going for everyone? Recorded lectures are a life saver, hey @khaleesi_18
khaleesi_18Posted 27-07-2016 12:40 PM
Sounds like a plan @N1ghtW1ng. Are the lectures recorded? If they are, you could watch them from home instead, so if something does bother you, you can pause the video (and use some coping strategies like mindfulness, posting on RO etc).
N1ghtW1ngPosted 27-07-2016 12:37 PM
And to your second post, it depends on how things are. I'll just have to wait and see how I go. 🙂
N1ghtW1ngPosted 27-07-2016 12:33 PM
@khaleesi_18 The best thing to do I guess is just wait until it starts and see how it goes. I'm more worried about the lectures and tutorials themselves. If something starts to bother me then, there is very little I can do to calm down. Plus, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving because I'd feel rude.
khaleesi_18Posted 27-07-2016 12:31 PM
Oh and @N1ghtW1ng I just want to say that it's totally up to you whether you feel comfortable with this sort of content. What can we do to help you/support you the best?
