Everyone has given awesome advice @redhead. You're not stupid for not being able to do it, assignments are hard. Google scholar is really helpful for references though. Let us know how you go 🙂

@N1ghtW1ng referencing is SUCH a pain! Make sure you reference as you go so that you don't miss anything and it won't be such a big job at the end. What referencing system do you need to use again?

Good luck with the quiz!

@khaleesi_18 some stupid referencing system that Word doesn't have 😞 Plus I need to do footnotes. I haven't even started writing the stupid thing. I can't seem to get into the right position to actually start. Stupid reason, but whatever. I need my elbows to be resting on something but right now they're hanging over the desk which is really annoying to try and hold my arms up to type easily. Dammit! I want to give up on Uni 😛

@j95 so awesome to read that you've reached a decision! I remember chatting to you about this a little while ago Smiley Happy

They would be such worthwhile areas to volunteer in, and very rewarding to be able to apply your experiences in a positive way!
You are a very caring person and it sounds like you would like to use your skills to give back to others - something I really admire about you.

That's awesome @j95.

Why do I keep doing this to myself? I have an assignment and a quiz due in tomorrow and I still haven't started either. The quiz will be easy, I'm sure I can just do it tonight, but the assignment. I have all the info, I just need to write it but the referencing, OH the referencing!

This thread is a big hit! Great idea @ElleBelle!

I'm in year 10 so not in this education range but I just wanted to pop in and show my support for this thread if you don't mind. 🙂

Yay @lokifish but also yay for holidays! :D:D

@j95 I know that feeling. But you'll make the right choice. In the end, you go with what you feel is best.

Speaking of having no idea what to do. . . you would not believe how useless my pros and cons list was. Basically, sticking with Primary had more pros and less cons, so that would be better. BUT Changing to Early Childhood and Primary had higher rated pros. The rating for cons was equal.
So which is more important? The rate of the pro or how many? Think of it as four points. More pros. Less cons. Higher valued pros. Lower valued cons. Sticking with Primary has 2/4. Changing to EC and Primary has 1/4 and a giant question mark for both has 1/4. BUT EC and Primary's 1/4 was the rating, the value of the pro so that might bump it up. Which leaves me with 2/4 for Primary and 2/4 for EC and Primary.
If there ever was an answer to the question do pros and cons lists always work? It's right here. 😛

In the end, I'm just going to stick with Primary.

@Snoopy90 Hello! Are you studying at TAFE or uni or something else?

Hey @Snoopy90 🙂 come to join us in sharing the joys and frustrations of student life?

Well I somehow made it to the end of week 4 😮 After Easter I've got four weeks of placement, then four more weeks of content and I'll be halfway through my degree! How on earth did that happen?!

Good luck @basketofmonkeys!!!

So my exam was a cluster of messes. 50% of the exam was an essay question that almost no one in my cohort understood and the lecturer keeps saying the chapter was mentioned in the unit outline (only the title though, not the number like EVERY OTHER CHAPTER) and arrggghhh. What a beeitch. 😛 I do not like her.

On a more positive note, I'm pretty sure I've passed everything (except maybe that dumb exam) so yay! I get my official results next Thursday so fingers and toes crossed!

That sucks! But I feel like it was good call on your part and good on you for recognising it was the best idea. Uni will always be there and you can continue on when the time is right @redhead

So we agreed to meet after the lecture and go to the library. I followed them all the way to the cafe. They either didn't notice me there or fucking ignored me. Oh yeah, just hang with your friends. Whatever. I'm waiting at the library for them now. I wonder if they'll show, walk past me, or message me asking where I am. I can't wait for this to be over.
