Today I'm Grateful For..
Last year I kept a diary everyday of the year. At the end of each entry, I would write down one thing I was grateful for that day. Looking back at it makes me appreciate a lot of things that I often forget about.
So, today I am grateful for my guinea pig Toffee - who unfortunately passed away yesterday aged 6. I got to spend an amazing 5 and a half years together with her. Thanks, Tof!
So, what are you grateful for today?
Today I'm grateful for sweet Christmas text messages from friends, DVDs, chocolate and photos from trips I've been on to remind me of the brighter times this Christmas 🙂
Today Im grateful for working in a Health Centre.. exercise for free yay!!
Today I'm grateful for incredible friends that take my mind off the things inside my head, and make me smile instead.
Today I'm grateful for the oat chocolate chip cookies I made with my kids on the weekend 🙂
I'm also grateful for the senior doctor who took over my care from the assigned night dr. He listened and understood this wasn't "just a headache" but a migraine, and if xyz didn't help then xy wouldn't help it and he took a different but more practical route to help me.
I'm grateful he checked for medication interactions and didn't ignore my worries.
I'm grateful to be home in bed after spending 11hrs in emergency which felt like forever
Hot chocolates, friends that will do anything for you and time spent with my mum 🙂
I'm grateful to my friend for being understanding today when I explained to her that I had a panic attack in class (which was why I bailed early). I was worried about how she'd react before I told her but she was really nice and didn't make a big deal of it, so I'm super grateful to her for that.
Today I'm very grateful for the way minors (as well as the young and dependants) are treated in Australia. The opportunities, the chances and the legalities especially.
Today I'm grateful for the fact I was born in Australia. It sounds like such a small thing but when you look at the rest of the world you realize how much of a difference that makes in terms of opportunities and quality of life. 🙂
