What are you proud of?
I don't think we've got a 'What are you proud of?' thread on this forum yet so I'd thought I'd start one. This was one of my favourite threads on the old forum 😄
I'm proud that I stayed at uni all day today and didn't skip any classes.
Over to you guys: What are you proud of? 🙂
I'm proud of myself that I managed to find a neurophysio with experience in FND who has agreed to treat my sister at home. I feel like I shouldn't have to be the one to arrange services (the hospital should be doing all that) but I'm proud that I was able to do my own research and work out solutions for my family.
@WheresMySquishy that's a huge win for you and your sister, my understanding is that's a pretty specialised area , so the fact you've been able to find someone who can come to your home as well is huge. Your family is lucky to have you in their corner, and you should definitely feel proud of getting that sorted
@Bee I think anyone who's able to focus on study at the moment, especially when it's complex and requiring a lot of focus, is absolutely awesome! Yay you!!
I'm proud of myself for asking my manager a question this week at work which made her help me by doing a couple of my tasks for me that I didn't get to do. While I would have prefered to do them myself, it was really nice that she did them for me, and it highlights a nicer side of her
@N1ghtW1ng well done on finishing your assignment so early, that is huge! If I'm honest, I don't think I ever managed to do that in my entire academic career (despite many good intentions lol)
@Bee It sounds like you're doing an amazing job managing it all at such a full on time ! What subjects are you doing at the moment?
Good for you for asking your manager a question like that. Definitely one to be proud of!
My "I am proud of" is a bit lame, but yesterday I was very proud of myself because I worked out how to take apart our stick vacuum cleaner and find several blockages, it wasn't working too well and now it's as good as new again. It's a minor thing I know, but I'm normally not that good at mechanical type things so I was proud of myself for persevering and working out the cause of the problems and how to fix it.
@Janine-ROI guess so.
I'm studying Diploma of accounting at TAFE via their online learning platform. I do 1 unit at a time, but usually we have access to 1 or 2. Currently I'm doing the unit on providing business and financial performance information, which involes a lot of calculations around the business' cash flow and also determining if a propised investment or project is worth undertaking based on calculations from financial predictions. So in other words a crap tonne of maths and critical thinking. So lucky the business calculators know the formulas for these complex equations! 😂
Also your proud moment is impressive! I had to be shown how to do it multiple times when I had to use one at work 😂 I just couldn't understand it (we have an older style - on wheels 😛 )
I don't have any proud moments today, and I'm not sure of any recently, I just came to reply 😛
I'm proud of myself for going to and getting through work today despite being anxious to go, and often overwhelmed with the amount of work that piled up on my on my week off work sick
im proud of making a few important phone calls that I had been putting off
Im proud that i've rapidly increased my drumming skills this year and become more confident in saying that 🙂
Today I am proud of putting together a new monthly playlist that I am super happy with
I'm proud of making two work-related phone calls today! It really took a lot of courage, but I did it!
I'm proud of myself for starting to successfully leave work stress at work after having a vent to a friend 🙂
Look out 2020! Here comes xXLexi_Lou122Xx!
I am proud of myself for being able to move past it over the weekend and feel okay about it 🙂
