What are you proud of?
I don't think we've got a 'What are you proud of?' thread on this forum yet so I'd thought I'd start one. This was one of my favourite threads on the old forum 😄
I'm proud that I stayed at uni all day today and didn't skip any classes.
Over to you guys: What are you proud of? 🙂
I'm proud of being able to adjust to my new schedule, hand in assignments early and push myself to study. I'm also proud of actively seeking better ways to have a more balanced life to reduce stress, and give myself more time for self-care activities
Those are some awesome wins - @ayrc_1904 it can be really hard to be proactive about making sure you are looking after yourself, and getting organised enough to get assignments in early is huge! I'll be honest, I rarely achieved that goal, but always felt great when I did! @scared01 good on you for having the scan done, I hope all turned out ok for you.
I am proud myself for being more disciplined with getting walks in before I start work this week - I really didn't want to go this morning but knew I'd feel better, and I am so glad I did! I never regret getting out there, even if it's tough to get going.
I'm proud that I am changing course, going back to uni and setting myself up for the greatest start possible for a new and slightly different career.
@Anonymous I see so much kindness in you on here!

very very busy and will help us out a lot, coming from someone who a month
ago was rifling through the freezer looking for whatever leftovers we could
find just to make it through I’m feeling confident about this and our
situation if it works out ok
Hey @Saltwaterdreamtime , that is amazing news!! You've shown so much strength and resilience in what sounds like a massively challenging time for you and your family, and it's so great to hear that things are looking up for you guys. It sounds like your persistence in looking for different opportunities has paid off big time.
It pays to be professionally annoying @Janine-RO I just kept checking in, every week, every couple of weeks and bam sealed the deal
The email replies go like a haiku and it’s so funny hahahaha why
That's amazing @lokifish I've been desperately trying to find the motivation to start exercising at home. Did the fitbit help to get motivated?
I'm proud of myself for cooking more. Pre-covid I was eating out a ridiculous amount and had totally lost touch with my love for cooking. I've been really enjoying trying new recipes. Last week I made a Thai Green Curry from scratch and surprised myself with how well it turned out.
Thai green curry sounds delicious! Now I want to make some 😛

I am proud of earning on my own and not financially dependent with anybody

That sounds so lovely @Taylor-RO!
Small things can turn into bigger things, even if it starts as a little smile at the start of the day!
I’m proud of myself for helping my mum today. I’m striving to do more work around the house, but it’s a little hard when you feel so exhausted and unmotivated. I didn’t want to make dinner tonight, but I helped anyway. That always feels good when you complete something that others might stress about on their own without help.
I’m also proud of getting through stationary shopping!
My siblings were being absolute morons, but we got through the hour.
I love stationary, but it’s not fun to look for when you get disturbed by others...
