Welcome to tonight's Getting Real session!!! Tonight jvkn, Sophie and I will be co-faciliating. We are chatting about one of the most common things we all might share, a pet. We want to know what having a pet does for your well-being and also share some cute images and videos with each other, that should uplift our mood ready for the week 🙂
We also want to invite those without pets (like myself) to share opinions, comments, images and videos that bring joy in your life and join in the conversation as well.
As many of you know, it is important to keep to the forum guidelines and have a read if you haven't already and if at any time you need to talk, check the emergency tab at the top right.

@jvkn - I have young kids at home and they are so much fun so I will definitely agree to that 🙂@Jeremyinthebox - Yes I learnt this last week that not all dogs are going to bring out my crazy allergies made me so happy though. I am scared of certain dogs though like I would cross the road if I saw Frankie so its really great that you cater to people who may be fearful of her as well. Some people just think I hate dogs and am a horrible person 😞 but no I'm just a scaredy cat lol I'm even scared of cats more I think, don't really know why.
@Platypus23 - stuffed animals is a good idea, I havent had one in years I cant even remember but gosh I know this is going to come out wrong but I loved just throwing them or punching them when I was angry... such release.

You could always just ignore the allergies and hope for the best??? 
After all, they do say you can grow out of them. But whenever we've tried, it hasn't been the right time for that.
It gets a bit too tricky to keep the dog confined to the kitchen (which we had to end up doing with our pomeranian), and that wasn't fair on the dog, neither much fun for us!
I would still like a dog again one day, though....

I met a 12 week dalmatian on Saturday. She was so cute and SO SO SO excited!My entire life can be described in one sentence: It didn't go as planned and that's okay. ツ
