[CHAT]: Emotional Support Animals

I think most of us can agree pets play a significant role in most people’s lives, but what about those people who heavily rely on animals for their everyday emotional wellbeing.

If you have ever had any experience with an emotional support animal and/or a therapy animal, or you simply want to learn more about them come and join the conversation!

On Monday the 24th July at 7:30pm AEST we are going to discuss emotional support animals and therapy animals, what they do and share our experiences with them.

Hi everyone!

My only experience with emotional support animals is last semester my university brought in therapy dogs for some of the students to play with during exam time which was a lot of fun

1. in my experience. support animals have been very good. my horses dont complain when i cry, talk about anything i want to and they dont backchat! they jsut casually be there eating away and thinking nothing about what im saying but in a way it is like they understand becasue thats how you get the bond with your animals

@scared01 aww that sounds amazing! I've always had a fascination with horses. I wish I had enough to own a horse! But I have nowhere to put him! Alas I'll have to wait, maybe one day I'll meet prince charming who owns a horse or two 😉

@mspaceK I think people definitely don't give dogs and other animals enough credit for picking up on their humans' emotions...that dog you used to live with definitely sounds like a winner

@scared01 I can imagine! My cats cost enough! But they eat scraps too, which is totally awesome as well! He better otherwise he'll be rejected for not having enough horses 😉 haha no I wouldn't be that mean
