The book I am currently reading: Love Without Limits- Nick Vujicic

  • Very inspirational!

Books I want to read next: The Alchemist-Paulo Coelho

Recently finished reading The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. Gave me serious Gone Girl vibes, anyone else read it?

@N1ghtW1ng you've finished the entire Discworld series!!! I'm only about 75% of the way through, and it took years! Right now I'm just visiting various libraries to find the rest of the books.

I did read The Shepherd's Crown very recently though, and man once I was finished I was so sad! Not because of the story necessarily, just because it's the last of Terry Pratchett's books

@safari93 me too, the book was wonderful though. I love the story line. I haven't actually read all of them, but I have read a fair few. I've got them all on my (broken) kindle. Hopefully I'll get around to reading the rest. I read them in the story, not the order. I've read all of Death's stories, Tiffany Aching, the wizard Rincewind (those are some of my favourites!) They're all great.

Ah my goodness today I bought the last DiscWorld series! I'm so excited to read it but my mum wants me to wait until our trip, so I can read it on the trip 😛

But currently I'm reading a book called Guardians of the Key. It's interesting.

@Craycray17 my favourite book I've read so far is probably Beauty of the Broken by Tawni Waters. It was heartbreaking, but I couldn't stop reading it and I thought it was very eye-opening. If I'm counting books that I've reread, it would probably be the Gone series by Michael Grant. I love the characters and they're very thrilling reads.

I've read 77 books now 🙂 I'm currently reading Book Of Lies by Teri Terry.

I'm aiming to read 100 books this year, and so far I'm up to 75 🙂 I just finished There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake today. It was strange... and as the title suggests, there were lies! I'm not too sure what I think of it yet. I'm currently reading The Leaving by Tara Altebrando, and so far, it's quite intense, but I'm enjoying it 🙂

Hey @Naruto, all good mate! Thanks for understanding :).

Have you read " John Dies at the End" ? I feel like you would be into it, heaps weird and a fair amount of violence too, less corny romance (although there is a little bit).

I love when you read and your whisked away into another world your with the main character and you see what their thinking their thoughts and actions in the story. I remember when i was in a hell suituation when I was a kid dealing with getting bullied and excluded at primary school and being afraid of my mum and the one thing I could always count on were my books. I would through out lunch and recess at school be reading Harry Potter books over and over again. Wishing that i could fall into the book and be there XD Books are defintley a great distraction from everyday life

I read the book called Arch Angels Blood not to long ago randomly picked it up from the libary got to say WOW such a porn book lol xD. Its fantasy of sorts its got vampires and Arch Angels in it the story is about this hunter called Honor she hunts vampires of sorts and she specialises in knowing about ancient languages. Three months ago in the story or two months ago she is recouvering emotionally from being kept in a basement. For the vampires pleasures she gets assigned a task to meet the ancient vampire called Dmitri to help him translate some symbols that are ancient he is tottally bent on seducing her. Good book haha i like the FIGHTING AND ACTION IN IT. The romance is just not as interesting xD

Hey @Naruto

I'm really loving reading your thoughts on the books you're reading at the moment - I can totally relate to just being so caught up in what you're reading that the real world kind of disappears. I'm also like you in that I really love books that are packed with adventure (I'm a sucker for books when the women get to go out and kick butt, I've gottan say Smiley LOL)

I just wanted to let you know that we have some guidelines about how we talk here on RO, especially about how we use swear words and insults. While it's totally okay to swear a bit, we are pretty careful about using harsh words that could trigger someone else who has had bad experiences (like for example, sexual assault survivors). We also don't use words which insult people or groups of people, like saying something is 'gay' as an insult.

We've tried to make the guidelines as clear as possible, but if you need more explanation on any of them we are absolutely here to talk about that. This is your safe space, after all.

What book are you reading next? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
