Today I Learned... More Useless Trivia!

Does anyone else feel like their head is full of useless trivia? Share your weird and random facts here!

Newborn babies will cry, like all the time, but they won't actually produce tears. Our tear ducts don't start working until we're about two months old. Speaking of tears, you can' t cry properly in space either due to zero gravity. The water will just sort of leak out of your eye and start floating around. BOOM!

  • The Dwarf Cat (original name, right?)
  • The Bambino

It's okay @Kapnight I just realised that is was probably a misunderstanding or a misreading. I may have gotten a bit defensive.

Hey @Kapnight

Would you like to start a new thread about your ex in Everyday life stuff or Something's not right? This way, we can chat more about how you've been feeling and work something out. How does that sound?

The most expensive pizza can be bought in London UK for £1,400/kg (AUD 2893.03)

This is the dictionary definition for the word 'solferino', according to Merriam-Webster:
"a moderate purplish red that is redder, darker, and slightly stronger than average rose, redder and duller than violine pink, redder and paler than magenta rose, and redder and less strong than average fuchsia rose."

It can be used as a synonym for the colour, fuschia.

Hi,

nope, everyone has a nose and thumb, so no.

imoving on, I've been around, and all types of things have happened, life, deaths, fights, great times etc.. But I am still amazed by liars, why? Why lie, you know you are lying, I know you are lying, everyone else realizes it. Don't get it. That is what I have learned , don't lie.

@stonepixie I actually heard about that. I find that funny.

In Switzerland they have a Fasnacht festival with special snacks during this time that are like sugary pringles. (I just finished eating a small packet. I love them so much.)
