It's like Twitter...but on Reach Out! Basically post status updates. No more than 140 characters if you're following the rules, but most of us will probably end up breaking that rule any way! 😛
@RevzZ omg I am the same with locking the car and even other people's cars if I have left anything in their car I just get so paranoid about people stealing my stuff
I took like a hundred paint colour swatches from Bunnings. Not sure what to do with them yet, but they're pretty
@May_ I think I'm lucky he didn't notice me speeding slightly (by a few km/h) down one stretch of road. It was only for a few seconds... 😛
@j95 starfish are so weird 😛
So this workshop job that I went for a few months ago is finally being finalised. Now that I can drive, I contacted them again and next Monday is the first one. 🙂 I have yet to tell my mum though...
Yeah they were free @N1ghtW1ng, so I just took heaps haha 🙂
That's cool about the workshop job! I hope it goes well 🙂
That's awesome @j95! Exploration is one of those things we just can't grow out of and finding hidey holes and waterholes is absolutely bliss. Maybe they've just spent too long looking at sand haha.
Oh nice, you surf? Got any tips? I'm not exactly the best at it so perhaps you've got some awesome tips for...staying on the surfboard?
I haven't actually driven with the handbrake on (yet :P) but one time I forgot to put it on when parking, turned off my engine and the car started rolling backwards haha. Thank God there weren't any kids or whatever behind me because that may not have ended well...
@N1ghtW1ng One thing that gets really funny is when you've driven so often you forget whether you've locked the doors after you get out. I hope I'm not the only one doing this though
That's ok that you drove with your handbrake on, happens to all of us and isn't really dangerous or anything! well done on your driving, you're doing awesome 🙂
@N1ghtW1ng don't worry, more times than I care to admit I've tried to put the car into gear and then wondered why it's not working - it's because I haven't even turned the damn engine on hahahahaha. Nearly 3 months since I got my licence and I'm still getting the hang of things
@j95oh wow! That is a really funny story.
I am about to drive on a main road for the first time by myself... Naturally, I'm scared 😛 It's not like I haven't been on the road before, but that doesn't mean I'm not nervous. Just 30 minutes of me, the road and other drivers.
EDIT: I made it. 🙂 I was halfway down a minor/main road when I realised I'd forgotten to put on my P plates. Thankfully I managed to turn into the estate, pull over and fix it. Then, and don't tell anyone, I accidently drove with my handbrake on, not the whole way, but it probably was for too long :(. Ugh, I'm such an idiot and should not be allowed to drive. But I survived 😛 And that's the important thing.
Yep totally been there too @N1ghtW1ng!!! One time I was borrowing my mums car and accidentlly left the hand brake on, and drove all the way into town before noticing the little red handbrake light was on the dashboard - but didn't actually KNOW it was the handbrake light, so CALLED MY MUM to be like "hey, why's this little red light on with an exclamation mark in it?" and she's like omg you're driving with hand brake on!!!!!!! Such a dill
Hahaha @j95 wowzer that's a crazy story!! Was your friend's surfboard ok???? I bet they'll never make that mistake again
