ooo! i write a bit of poetry on the side! i use it to express my feelings, and declutter my head sometimes lol.
one of my poems, gray, ↓
how the night sky is gray?
unending
a canopy of clouds
like a barrier
like a cage
there seems to be no stars
there seems to be no moon
it is gray and it is threating
it will swallow you
so watch out
before you become lost
in the thick, suffocating clouds
sitting on top
sinking in the mist
you feel like you're falling
but you won't move an inch
though there is one positive
as your air is tight
you look up above
and the sky is not gray
it is filled with stars
Depression
She has a shadow
it follows her around everyday
it haunts her in her sleep
it haunts her in every way
darkness fills her heart, it fills her soul
the darkness swollows her whole
it creeps into her eyes
but she will tell you shes fine
behind the smile there are tears
inside her heart there hold many fears
in her eyes the darkness sits there
theres no strength left, only despair
if you listen closley, you will hear pain
and right now shes struggling to stay sane
@scared01 they were amazing ! im so bad at grammar...but i feel when im describing how im feeling visually e.g “im lost in the tide” im alright i guess, that probably made no sense ! that’s exactly what i mean im terrible at english ahahha.
@Erin-RO thank you, yes they do help me. usually when i cant find the words to say when im struggling, ill write for a while and usually come up with a poem. do you write poems too or have any that you like that you could share here?
That's awesome @scared01! Yeah I used to dabble in a bit of poetry / journaling, except this was back in the days of pen and paper and I have no clue where all that stuff is!! I'll have to have a look for them 
I really should give it a go hey @scared01 if I come up with anything I'll post it for you!

expect it isn’t a grey day
it’s a grey life
it’s contantly grey
no sunshine
just the ocassional rain and thunder
but it’s always just grey

I love quotes and poems! In fact I write quotes on my blog! Here is one of my quotes 🙂 I was in uni a couple of days ago and realised how negative people can really change your behaviour and mentality. This quote was inspired by my experience.

This is a poem I wrote it’s from the perspective of my past self when I didn’t have depression looking at my present self suffering from severe depression.
Whose depression is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch her frown. I cry hello.
She gives her depression a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.
The depression is heavy, hard and deep,
But she has promises to keep,
Until then she shall not sleep.
She lies in bed with ducts that weep.
She rises from her bitter bed,
With thoughts of sadness in her head,
She idolises being dead.
Facing the day with never ending dread.
