Weekly GOALS!
Hey everyone,
So I've been a little lost and I've wanted to become more involved in the forums and haven't done a great job of it so far. So to combat this issue I've made a goal, and I thought it would be good if we had a thread about goal setting on the forums.
I've decided to set my goal across the week. And my goal is to "Personally respond to 3 people".
I chose 3 because it's a nice number, not too easy but not too daunting. The idea of responding to people helps push me to be more apart of the forums and step more into the role of a builder.
So now that I've shared my goal for this week, I'm wondering if you have any goals this week? What are they?
My goal for the coming week is to take out time for myself, despite the work commitments I have 🙂
My goal this week is to try and be more social by reaching out to some friends over the weekend
My goal for the week is to spend quality time with my parents and at the same time balancing out work and self-care
It's not exactly weekly goals, more like everyday goals, but I still felt like sharing because... I've forgotten the word. Darn it what's that word? It's like reliablilty? but not... I want to say "compatible" but that's not the word at all... ACCOUNTABLE! *breathes huge sigh of relief* I felt like sharing because the forums can hold me "accountable". If I remember I shared it, I might try posting "progress pics" and see how many stickers (because I'm using stickers :P) things have.

Fantastic goals @litgym and @annabethxchase! Do you have any goals for this week @Bananatime04, @dncinginthedirt, and @Blurryphaced?
Mine would be:
1. To cook dinner for my family
2. Spend time outside in the fresh air
3. Order my textbooks for uni
Thanks for the tag @Jess1-RO
My three goals for the week would be to go for a bike ride, set up the new school desk I bought, and do a lil bit of study to make it easier when I go back to school.

How are we going with our goals this week @Blurryphaced @litgym, @dncinginthedirt and @annabethxchase?
I've gotten through 2 of my goals, but still need to order my textbook for uni. Would love to hear your progress!
@Jess1-RO I was able to complete two goals (ride my bike and do some study) but I couldn't finish the desk on my own so I'm waiting till this weekend when my dad can help.

We have this awesome resource on the website for goal setting and keeping: Check it out on the website here too.
amazing work @annabethxchase!!
You smashed those goals!
It's the end of the week, but I might set my goals for next week now!
-follow my new exercise plan every day (I'm training for a 16km race!)
- work on a big uni assessment that's been sitting in the back of my mind for a while
- sort out some medical appointments, and prescriptions that I need to do
Love this thread 🙂 Great accountability!
Hi @Jess1-RO thanks for including me in this thread 🙂
My goals for this weeks are:
1. Complete the bulk of my assignment that's due on Monday (eeeep!)
2. Complete my volunteer in-school mentor training on Wednesday
3. Pay back the money into my savings account that I ate out of coz I had to get my car serviced today
I am studying psychological science and doing some health management units
Goal setting is great. I personally find that setting small goals or breaking a bigger goal into smaller parts is one way to maximise motovation. I find if a task is too 'big' or 'hard', I try to break it down into something where my brain says "well okay, I can give that a go!".
A daily goal: I have a super big drink bottle for this very goal setting reason.. perfect opportunity! My daily goal is to drink the minimum of 2 litres of water. I want to do it for my skin and because it's good for you.. BUT because see that thing empty (it's 2.2 litres haha) at the end of the day makes me feel like a boss 😎
