Harry Potter!
As @lokifish can attest, I am a massive Harry Potter fan
And this year is the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter series, so I thought that if there are any other Harry Potter fans around, we could share the love!
Maybe we could start with a question:
Who is your favourite Harry Potter character and why?
I agree @lennycat2017, Hermione is great!
I think Defense Against the Dark Arts is what I'd look forward to most, especially if Lupin was the teacher.
As for the house and patronus,
I am a Hufflepuff, with strong Gryffindor traits. My patronus is a dolphin!
I took a test called: Which Female HP character are you most like?
I got the most hated one yet... Can you guess?
Dolores Umbridge......................
I'm a Griffindor, my patronus is a chestmut mare :3 I love horsey's.
My favourite character would either be Hermoine or Luna. (Ps: I've kind of had a crush on Luna, so yes, I'm a lesbean. Hehe :3)
My favourite class I would love to attend would either be Transfigurations, Charms, Herbology, Potions or flying class. :3
Guess who bought Lego Harry Potter Years 1-7! 😄
I like Harry Potter and I LOVE Lego games, so it was a must!
I love it, but it's a shame I can't really wear the jumper again until autumn/winter...
@N1ghtW1ng I'm super jealous!
I really miss when Lego games would have the cutscenes with no words, it's so funny!!!
If you need a good laugh, just look up Lego Harry Potter (or lego Star wars!) cutscenes cause they are really funny

I am a Massive Harry Potter fan 😄 completely obsessed actually. Not a day goes by where i don't reference the book or movie one way or another. You could say, after all this time?.... 😛
If I went to Hogwarts I would most likely look forward to Flying lessons. I love sport and I'm pretty coordinated and competitive. I imagine it would be something I'm good at! Plus I'm small and light!!
Another would be divination. That stuff seriously intrigues me and I have good intuition at times so I think I'd enjoy the mystery and looking into the beyond!
I totally get it. I've been in love with Harry Potter series ever since I was a little girl.
I would like to attend Potions definitely.
Omg yes @mspaceK let us discuss all things HP!! (ALWAYS!)
I went to a HP trivia night a few weeks back, and my team won. I was very competitive, I must admit!
Good point - I never considered it, but I am also small and light, and those are possibly the only reasons I'd be good at flying. Otherwise, I'm terribly unco-ordinated, much like Tonks 😛
Ooooh, Divination would be interesting too!
I received a pair of HP socks for my birthday this year and I was very happy about it 🙂
What's your favourite quote from the books/movies?
That is amazing @letitgo . I got a pair of Harry Potter socks last year and they are my favourite. Oh I would have been so competitive too.
"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the lights." - Dumbledore
And
"Think of it this way. Every great witch or wizard in history has started out as nothing more than what we are now.. students! If they can do it, why not us?"
Could not love this thread more! I love Harry Potter, I think I have something like three different versions of all of the books because every time a new cover is released I HAVE to own it haha
I think my favourite character would have to be either Ginny Weasley or Professor McGonagall. Both are strong female characters with a take no rubbish attitude/approach. I love Ginny for her loyalty to those around her and her ability to hold her own against her brothers and others in Dumbledores Army and Professor McGonagall for her unwavering support of Dumbledore and Hogwarts, alongside having some of the best lines in the film, my favourite being her response to Harry and Ron arriving late to her first ever transfiguration lesson.
Also, Pottermore sorted me as a Slytherin and after the initial shock I agree with the sorting hats decision.
On a related side note, has anyone else seen the Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald film yet? I loved it!
@Maddyw McGonagall is next level awesome, gotta agree with you there! especially with how much she just loathes Umbridge i really love Ginny in the books especially, "you start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve" is one of her best lines and fits her to a T!
I can't blame you for collecting HP books, they keep releasing new beautiful designs!
@Maddyw I haven't seen it yet but I am super excited to see it! Glad to hear it is good because I saw a couple of reviews that said it wasn't great. Going to see it either way though!! 🙂
Loving this thread! Did not realise it had been 20 years already!!! Crazy!
If you went to Hogwarts what class would you look forward to the most?
If professor Lupin stayed the teacher, I'd be so keen on Defence Against the Dark Arts and probably flying lessons!
@Maddyw Professor Lupin would be so good as a teacher! that would honestly be awesome
@annabethxchase McGonagall is the hero this world deserves 😛
If you went to Hogwarts what class would you look forward to the most?
I'm not sure, probably either charms or transfiguration. Charms because all those cool little spells would be epic! Transfiguration because MCGONAGALL IS A GODDAMN QUEEN - I'd probably suck though!
