Introducing Yay You's
We are excited to announce a new way of recognising the support we give each other: Yay, You!
There is evidence across the online community of the support and kindness this community shows each other. Use this thread as a place to capture it all and celebrate each other. There are a few ways you can do this:
Feel free to use this template
Yay, You's are how ReachOut staff recognise each other's good work. We do this by writing a message and/or selecting one (or more) of our organisational values, which are:
Compassion
Generosity
Inclusiveness
Responsibility
Fun
Courage
If you'd prefer to tag the community member and send a message/gifs, etc., you are welcome to do it that way. Whatever works for you is perfect!
Looking forward to reading through this thread!
I would actually like to give a Yay You to @Anonymous - whenever I hop on, I always see your name underneath the most recent posts with support and responses that are genuine and bound to make a positive impact on someone. Thank you for your contribution, it certainly hasn't gone unnoticed
A huge Yay You to @Anonymous - not only for your amazing, compassionate support to people who are having a tough time, but also for jumping into heaps of games threads like this one -
I just realised that this thread has been running on and off now for TEN YEARS!! Amazing
A hugely deserved Yay You to you @Anonymous Thank you so much for being part of this community and offering immense compassion, widsom and fun.
A massive Yay You to @ayrc_1904 for your generosity and compassion and these awesome wise words:
"Please know something that I also try to remind myself. Everybody is on their own path. It doesn't matter when you start and finish. It doesn't determine 'success' (whatever that word even means). You are on your own life journey and should be so proud of yourself for how you are managing and juggling things. "
YES!! Love all of this so much, and it's something I wish that somebody had told me when I was younger.
Wow! What incredible wisdom. Thank you @ayrc_1904 for sharing these powerful words with us
Yay @lemurien and @Anonymous
X COMPASSION
X INCLUSIVENESS
It is beautiful to see you two connecting and demonstrating compassion towards each other and including each other by tagging each other in posts, and making each other feel very understood and accepted. 😄
