Introducing Yay You's

We are excited to announce a new way of recognising the support we give each other: Yay, You!

There is evidence across the online community of the support and kindness this community shows each other. Use this thread as a place to capture it all and celebrate each other. There are a few ways you can do this:

Feel free to use this template

Yay, You's are how ReachOut staff recognise each other's good work. We do this by writing a message and/or selecting one (or more)  of our organisational values, which are:

Compassion

Generosity

Inclusiveness

Responsibility

Fun

Courage

If you'd prefer to tag the community member and send a message/gifs, etc., you are welcome to do it that way. Whatever works for you is perfect!

Looking forward to reading through this thread!

I would actually like to give a Yay You to @Anonymous - whenever I hop on, I always see your name underneath the most recent posts with support and responses that are genuine and bound to make a positive impact on someone. Thank you for your contribution, it certainly hasn't gone unnoticed

A massive Yay You to @ayrc_1904 for your generosity and compassion and these awesome wise words:

"Please know something that I also try to remind myself. Everybody is on their own path. It doesn't matter when you start and finish. It doesn't determine 'success' (whatever that word even means). You are on your own life journey and should be so proud of yourself for how you are managing and juggling things. "

YES!! Love all of this so much, and it's something I wish that somebody had told me when I was younger.

A few yay you's from me!

To @goldwing03 - thank you for your compassion, generosity, and inclusiveness- you've hit the ground running as a new builder, we're loving having you on the team!

@WheresMySquishy  for this fantastic Weekly Wellbeing- definitely got me thinking about little steps I can take to look after our environment

@Hozzles for your generosity and courage in sharing your journey and adventures with ADHD- as a fellow late-diagnosed ADHDer, I related to so much of what you wrote and I'm so, so happy for you that you have some answers. I know that for me, it was a really validating experience- so many pieces of my puzzle clicked into place. Sharing your story is something that will help so many people reading too- so ,yay you!
