1000001 COPING STRATEGIES & DISTRACTIONS

Hey! So @j95 and I came up with a cool idea to have the longest list of coping mechanisms EVER.

Use this list when you're feeling down as a way to get through the day or night!

Help us add to it by giving us ONE SUGGESTION PER POST 🙂

My first coping mechanism suggestion is:

  • SNUGGLING YOUR DOGS FOR 5 MINUTES. (Cos dogs are the best)

113. Read @j95's hilarious meme thread. Warning: you might wee your pants laughing, so maybe don't read it if you're in a library/church/class

@Ben-RO It's faster if you do three steps at a time (ok I can only do 2 but 3 is very possible)

@j95 I always do that at $2 shops 😄

101. Deep breaths in and and count your breaths, up to ten, then start again from 1-10 and repeat. If you go past ten, it's because your mind has drifted, so try to stay present in your breathing!
