@N1ghtW1ng with the way my course is structured I'm going to be stuck part time for the next 2 years. There's an option to do my final semester full-time though if down the track I decide to. I think it'll work out okay 🙂
@Craycray17 I really can't think of other ways. I don't know how to go from general chatting to friends. It kind of sucks seeing people at uni with friends and there's just me alone.
@lokifish How frustrating that they're making you move campuses! I hope it goes okay.
@N1ghtW1ng I very very much understand feeling isolated at uni when everybody else seems to have friends and you're by yourself 😞 Plus so much of the advice people give for making friends is aimed at people who already have no trouble socialising. I wondered maybe is there a group or club on your campus that you'd be interested in joining/feel comfortable trying out?
@Craycray17 this is my second year. My degree is three years so I'll only have to transfer for the last 12 months but it's still so annoying. They're holding a forum for students with the faculty heads next week so hopefully we'll get some more answers then.

@N1ghtW1ng really? Most people I know at Victorian unis go back next week. I guess it just means we'll finish earlier than you 😛 enjoy your extra-long winter break!

Yeah look i pretty much ignore anyone who says uni students have it easy, try cramming 4 entire text books plus 'additional readings' in 12 weeks and assignments that are due up to a few days before your exams. Uni is designed to make us crazy!!!
@Craycray17 I'm not entirely sure right now but I'm thinking maybe cardiology. I'm on a respiratory ward with a high dependency unit at the moment though and I'm quite enjoying it there. I think I'd be happy in any acute setting 🙂 and you're right about uni being designed to make us crazy!
@Craycray17 Nah we do semesters, but the difference is that in nursing/medicine your semesters never actually end 😛 we can have placement all twelve months of the year (including summer break) and don't get paid a cent for it. So much for "uni students have it easy" hey? 😛 though despite the craziness of it I couldn't imagine studying anything else 🙂

Whose idea was it to make honours students at my uni do a poster presentation on our thesis after having to hand in our thesis? I'm so tired of uni right now but I'm nearly there!
@redhead that's a tough task, reflection. I find it silly that someone's reflection can be marked a grade to be honest! Are there specific questions that you need to answer? I find breaking assignments down into small chunks can help?
