I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
Yesterday I practiced self-care by having my nails done!
Today I practiced self-care by having a sleep in
I took a rest day from gym & treated myself to a kit Kat because I hadn’t had chocolate in a while!
Today I practiced self-care by having a nap instead of going to the gym. I didn't sleep well so it felt like the better option for me today
Today I practiced self-care by taking a break from housework and unpacking and hung out with a friend, it was a refreshing little break.

- Watching Netflix (I'm currently watching atypical)
- Making some banana bread to enjoy during the week
- Having some time alone to myself which was much needed after a busy week at work
Today I practiced self care by getting organised, pushing myself to finish all these little tasks and chores that were building up. The relief and release I felt after were well worth it!
Today I practised self-care by buying some fresh veggies to make fried rice for tea! I also did a bit of colouring in this afternoon which relaxed me 🙂
Today I practiced self care by coming to visit my mum and dad, I live out of home now and I miss them lots so seeing them makes me happy
Today I practiced self-care by having a little sleep in and taking some time to make a nice breakfast before diving into the errands/chores I need to do for the day
Today I practiced self care by going for a walk around a shopping centre and hanging out with my family after an interview.

Usually, I am very strict about what I eat. So today, I practised self-care by letting myself have the unhealthy food that I really wanted for lunch. While rare for me, I know it's important to relax on diets sometimes and enjoy yourself.
Today I took a shower and washed my hair, I washed my bedsheets and cleaned my room (messy room = messy mind and vice versa haha) and I had a chill out day, doing what I wanted to do
I practiced self care by going for a swim today. Didn't feel like going to the gym, so I found a fun replacement hahaha
