Hi everyone!
Loving the cat conversations. I am a crazy cat lady myself!
This is my cat Nobby and he is such a lovely boy (a naughty one too). I adopted him a few months ago and he was quite malnourished but now he's slowly getting more plumpy which I am so happy about. He loves chomping slippers and like to go berserk during the midnight hours. Does anyone else's cats do this? 
Would love to see everyone else's cats! Please share!

@PinkBlossoms awww Nobby is so cute! It sounds like he's lucky to have you, I hope he grows into a happy round boy.
Both my kitties are pretty calm at night, though occasionally during the day Holly will fight with the rug.

I have four cats at the moment, my adult cat Rosie who is a black domestic medium hair she's almost 8, and three little foster kittens, a calico (Judi), a ginger (Rudi) and a tiny tabby (Tony) they are around 8 weeks.

Thought I would restart this thread in 2020 but introducing Tama the cat, who was one of Japan's first feline train stationmasters, to all of you:
As a station master, Tama had her own official cap and collar announcing her title.
Very fancy!
Unfortunately, Tama died of old age in 2015, but her legacy still remains and she has been succeeded by her apprentice, Nitama (Japanese for Tama II):
Does anybody else know of any famous/unusual cats?
I really like cats too, I have a male cat but I don't know what type. All I know is he is black and very playful 
Okay so apparently there's a Netflix show called The Lion in Your Living Room all about cats and I am SO keen to watch it!!

Also Lennycat2017, as @Tony_leaf was saying extracting your hand with little fuss should help, also providing them with toys they can play with. Even playing with them with said toys. I know for my cats they don't tend to bite much because we play with them with things they can bite, so either my hand is under the blankets or wrapped in something they can bite and they enjoy it 🙂
I used to use a sock for wrapping my hand for my kitty to bite. Unfortunately she seems to be a lion and can get her teeth and claws through it very easily, but it worked when she was a bit smaller and a bit less determined to kill the sock...

The gif reminds me of the other day my female cat brought a grasshopper inside into the laundry, and my male ca followed her in; curious, and so they were standing facing each other with the grasshopper between them. Then the grasshopper jumped and hit my male cat in the nose and scared him and he jumped back and was cautious to sniff it I cracked up laughing it was SOOO FUNNY!

Also has anyone else here had to catch two cats and a mouse (or similar) at the same time?
Like is that a universal cat-person thing or are my kitties especially difficult..?
(the cats and mouse in question all made it unharmed. I was less lucky. And less fit....)

@Bee like if all cat people have to try and juggle various animals at the same time..
@Bee I'd normally try that, but when my kitties have their little hearts set on murder it gives me a bit of a time limit....
Rounding all three up to go to the vets sounds like it'd be hard work...
My fluffy cat will attack anything she can get her paws on... I've seen her locked in mortal battle with a plastic cup. Also she once "rescued" me from a paint brush that was apparently planning an assassination attempt on me. She was very proud of herself for that
