Today I'm Grateful For..
Last year I kept a diary everyday of the year. At the end of each entry, I would write down one thing I was grateful for that day. Looking back at it makes me appreciate a lot of things that I often forget about.
So, today I am grateful for my guinea pig Toffee - who unfortunately passed away yesterday aged 6. I got to spend an amazing 5 and a half years together with her. Thanks, Tof!
So, what are you grateful for today?
@Bee wow! You have really put yourself out of your comfort zone here and found a way to get through an uncomfortable experience. Thank you for sharing what works for you!
Today I am grateful for the chance to have a coffee with my house mate before work!
I'm grateful for how caring and considerate my dentist is. They had to take impressions today for treatment and I struggled through the first one, that she helped me through the second by telling me to focus on my breathing and moving my toes and ankles like I do during tough parts of treatment. Having her help walk me through it without telling her what helps me made me grateful to have found her.
Today I'm grateful for how wonderful, caring and supportive this community is. I really love coming on here and seeing all the love and care shown to others!

I am grateful for the access to education! Struggling to survive these last few assessment pieces but it'll be worth it!!
I am also grateful to have wonderful friends. They have been here for me all this time, even though I thought I had none. Even though I chased after fake friends, they still love me.
I don’t know if I would still be alive if they weren’t there.
Hi everyone!
Today in my yoga class the teacher was talking a lot about gratitudeWe started the practice by setting an intention for the day and holding onto something we were truly grateful for. Then at the end of the session, we reflected back on that set intention and specific gratitude, sitting with a deep sense of gratitude. It was an amazing, heartfelt experience and it made me think about how I can cultivate this into daily life.
Taking out 5 minutes in my day, each day, to reflect upon what I am grateful for is such a special experience.
Further research into this has lead me to understand that just 5 minutes of gratitude journaling or refection can improve your mental wellbeing!!
So I invite you to sit back and reflect on 1 thing you are GRATEFUL for today...no matter how big or small... anything counts!
Share this gratitude with us all, I would love to read everyone's thoughts and gratitudes within their own lives.
I will start us off...
Today I am truly grateful for the sunshine, feeling it's warmth against my skin, shining down upon me. The sunshine warms up my heart and soul and lifts my mood positively. Thank you for the sunshine today.
Gratitude is such an important practice! I often use this when I am overwhelmed or stressed out.
Today I am grateful for supportive co-counsellors who help me grow professionally and support me in tough conversations.

Today I am so grateful to have the opportunity and resources to be able to study what I love at university, given that so many people in the world do not get to share this luxury.
Today I am grateful that I get to work on the forums, everyone one here inspires me with how brave they are in sharing stories and supporting each other

I'm just grateful I get to come home to a stable, caring home environment every night. I didn't appreciate this enough when I was younger. It's something not every one can experience unfortunately, so I definitely don't take it for granted anymore
This is great @statuscaring!!
