Weekend Check In!
Hi everyone
I hope everyone has something fun planned for this weekend. I thought it would be a cool idea to start a little check in thread, of course though if you have a specific concern you should create your own thread, but I’m just tagging some frequent users to see how you’re going and what you’re up to over the weekend, let us know! It’s a tricky time for some with Christmas coming up... so it’s nice to just ask how somebody is doing.
Tag some other people too and let them know we are thinking of them.

My weekend so far has been really nice. Surfed this morning and then my partner and I went out to celebration her “no graduation ceremony graduation” because thanks to covid she never got to do anything to celebrate finishing her masters. Then tomorrow just hanging out at home. You?
This is such a kind thread @Saltwaterdreamtime. Im sorry to hear about your surf broad being broken and the bad experience with the guy. I hope your little boy is feeling better. Sorry my late response, I went for a drive and spent with my family the past weekend. I'm doing well although not in the Christmas mood which isn't normal for me, so I'm just easing into hoping to get in the spirit soon

@A_Friend I'm doing good, my Christmas is going to be quiet home alone but i'll find things to do over the holidays!

I'm doing pretty good! Currently working as a Christmas casual and I'm getting rostered pretty much almost every day of the week so it's a little tiring but all of my coworkers and managers have been so lovely!! I'm really lucky to be part of the team 
I think I also have an early Christmas party comin up with some old highschool friends this coming week so I'm looking forward to that

Hi, @ayrc_1904 I'm doing alright, having my ups and downs. With Christmas upcoming a little stressed with workload increasing right before and after new years. But feeling pretty prepared for it and happy about the break soon. I'm glad to hear your doing well and have things your looking forward too

Ah yea I totally get you! Haha I'm only a casual worker but my manager accidentally put me on a 41hr work week and had to reduce it when she realised
I love my workplace though and the people are so lovely so I don't mind working a lot these days- getting ready for Christmas!!

Nothing out of the ordinary but I still had a good weekend I went to the gym, went for a walk with a friend, went out for dinner with a different friend and washed my car. What about you @Saltwaterdreamtime?

My auntie might be able to come over from Victoria for Christmas which is exciting!

Not much happening for me this weekend, haha. I'll be watching The Wire, running/lifting, reading, eating and grocery shopping.
