TW: Why Am I getting Bullied? Why do I feel alone in a crowd of people?

I'm making this post, because I'm getting bullied, and I need help with coping.

I have my two friends back, even if I don't hang out with them much. They don't know what's happening to me, because I don't want to start drama between me and my bully.

I finally reported an incident that happened on Wednesday, and it's being dealt with as we speak.

But it doesn't help that I already feel alone, even with my friends. Everything I do, feels like a wrong thing to do.

I feel like a mistake, disgrace, and letdown to the face of this earth.

Why do I feel so alone?

Is there anyone to help me? Any tips, suggestions, etc?

@Bananatime04 @DruidChild @Jay-RO @mspaceK @TOM-RO @Sammyye @Andrea-RO @scared01 @WheresMySquishy @Tiny_leaf, Anybody?

Hi @xXLexi_Lou122Xx! I don't have a lot of advice but I'm really proud of you for reporting the incident! That was a really brave thing to do.

I can relate to the feeling of being alone despite having friends. I've been going through some tough times recently and sometimes I feel bitter and angry about people I thought were friends or whom I could trust. A lot of people never asked about us or offered any help at all and some ignored us completely. A small gesture would have gone a long way. Sometimes we expect people to support us and they don't end up having the capacity to do so. I have learned there are lots of things I can do to help myself even if other people aren't of any help. I know it's a different situation to you because your friends don't know about the bullying but I know that lonely feelings usually end up passing and that there are often solutions to problems.

Are you able to access any other supports while your counsellor is away? I found mental health apps, such as the ones on the ReachOut website, to be a big help. There are also other helplines and services you can use in the meantime.

Hey @xXLexi_Lou122Xx, just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling today?

I can see from the thread that you've been experiencing some bullying. This is something I can relate to, as I was bullied at school too and always felt alone in a crowd as well. If you feel like talking, I'd be happy to have a chat when you're on next 🙂

Thanks for the replies everybody.
Today, I just got back from a rehearsal. I sprained my ankle last night, but we were luckily watching another highschools production the entire time.
Now I'm about to have lunch. Not sure what to have tho... probably a cheese and chicken roll toastie. Yum..................

I'm feeling pretty chill, with small feelings surfacing occasionally. I'll probably be here most of my arvo. Or I'll be on the gachalife chat... if it'll work for me..................

I wish there was somebody else I could see. There probably is, but I can't be bothered to build up another relationship. They take a lot of time and effort to build up and maintain, you know?

This bullying incident has been dealt with, at least, I hope so...
That kid hasn't done anything after that, so hopefully the message has sunk in.

Sometimes I just want to sleep. That's me rn... Sleep is all I need for the moment. I only need sleep, because I haven't been getting enough... due to my sore ankle....

Gah - sorry to hear about your ankle @xXLexi_Lou122Xx . That is such a pain. I hope it heals up fast. How was the other schools production? Did you like it? I love watching productions...especially professional musical theatre.

I definitely feel like I can relate to feeling hesitant about starting with someone new. I have been going through that process on kidshelpline and with my new psychologist. I was feeling really frustrated by it and at times I still do. But the main thing that has kept me going is that even though they don't know me as well as my previous counselors, they are getting to know me and they care and will be there to support me and overtime you might come to want to speak to them. It's all I have right now so I feel like I need them. I think it is better than having no one.

Yay! let's build on that hope and send the bullying to the ground to rest. ❤️ sleep sounds so good! That's what I do sometimes!

I completely agree with you on new relationships.

My ankle is ok, not fractured or broken, thankfully. Just a little bit sore.

Yes I did like the other school's production. It was hilarious! Especially the cringey and sassy jokes! But my favourite character has to be La Cienega! Transgender boy to girl, has so many comedian sides! Sooo funny.

Have you seen Bring it On:the musical?

Hey @xXLexi_Lou122Xx . That is big news. I don't know much about the accuracy of pregnancy tests and things like that, but if you are worried I highly recommend speaking to a GP. Or perhaps even doing another test just to bed sure?

Are you okay?

May seem like a dumb question - but is it possible for you to be pregnant?

Idk...
Something isn't right here.
That isn't a dumb question at all.
I'm so confused. I'll take another one, but I don't really know....

I once had a pregnancy scare when I was 15 years old because my period was almost 2 weeks late @xXLexi_Lou122Xx . I know that stress can cause your period to be late.

I know you are still quite young and i'm wondering if you have even started getting your period yet? I know that is personal, but periods can help to be a good indicator.

If you don't feel confident going to your GP - then I would suggest seeing a nurse at your local Headspace. They would know how to support you the best and let you know what your possible options are, that is if you are pregnant. But they can also help you to figure out if you are too.

Thinking of you ❤️ -hugs-

Hey @xXLexi_Lou122Xx

That is very big news! This sort of situation can be a very scary and overwhelming experience for a lot of people, so it's really important that you are able to be supported by people who you can trust and rely on. I think that going to the doctor is a super good idea, as they will not only have access to very reliable tests which show whether you are pregnant or not, but they also will be able to talk to you about what options you have next. Heart

@mspaceK also gave some really good advice, and is totally correct in saying that stress can affect your period cycle a whole lot!

I just also wanted to quickly double check what you mean by a suggested pregnancy test? I'm not 100% sure about what you mean by that 🙂

No worries @xXLexi_Lou122Xx, thanks for updating us!

I'd definitely recommend that you change your password and try not to write it down if you can, just so your sister can't hack into your account next time 🙂

It's okay @xXLexi_Lou122Xx . These things happen. I remember when my sister hacked my facebook and started writing all these weird status' as a joke. It really stressed me out but it was okay afterwards. This is a safe place here so absolutely no worries.

Chocolate sounds so yummy! I am a bit jealous. I have barely eaten today because of my upset tummy but i'm sure it will go away eventually.. !

I hope you get better soon @mspaceK!
I'm on the hungry side today. I haven't eaten much. I only ate some fruitloops this morning, a chic chip muffin for a snack, a small salad for lunch, and a little bit of vanilla icecream. They were all small amounts of food, so I'm hunting for more food....

They sound really good @xXLexi_Lou122Xx . omgosh fruit loops I haven't had in quite a while! Do you have dinner plans? I have no idea what to have for dinner or afternoon snack. I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch as such. And thank you, I'm sure I will feel better soon.

Fruitloops are the best. Tho... they aren't very filling...............
