Hello people of RO
I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
I did some exercise instead of watching Netflix on the couch while I had the house to myself. (And will soon be watching Netflix, too!) 🙂
Today I practiced self-care by putting on some of my favourite tunes while I cleaned the house! Music always makes me feel calm, so I put on some upbeat tracks to keep me in a positive headspace 🙂
Today I practised self care by doing a bit of morning yoga after an early start
Today I am practising self-care by having a bubble bath to treat myself after getting through day one!
today I practiced self care by taking time out of class to relieve the stress, anxiousness and thoughts 🙂
allowing my self to sleep in - heading back to work today after a holiday which was amazing but needed a bit of time to recuperate and ensure I was present at work.
I practised self-care by taking naps during the day and reaching out for some extra support when I needed it
Today I practiced self care by going to the gym, I feel so much happier once I've exercised and I was feeling very down this morning, and unmotivated.. so actually getting there and getting it done made me feel great! 🙂
Hey everyone! Today I practiced self-care by going to the gym to work on my rehab for my knee. I had surgery for a torn meniscus in November, and was on crutches for 6 weeks. Finally being able to work on rehab gives me a sense of control over my own destiny, and is great for my mental health compared to sitting at home not being able to move
Being on crutches sucks! So glad you're working on your rehab now 🙂
I practised self-care by tidying my room and vacuuming the floor! It was soo good to vacuum the floor as I haven't been able to for way tooo long 😛 I was even able to organise some things so that felt good too! 🙂
Today I practiced self care by taking some for myself after a BUSYYYYY work week.
