I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
... requesting extensions for my uni assignments.
I have been struggling with balancing both my study and employment workloads. I figured it would be better to spread out the workload a little, as it's my final week of uni for the year, and it's getting very hectic, and somewhat overwhelming.
Not feeling guilty. I wasn't in the right mental state to do any of my assignments and homeworks, and I didn't feel bad for not completing them 🙂
Today, I practiced self-care by packing some picnic snacks and heading to the park for the afternoon. The weather was too good to pass up a day in the outdoors, and the warmth of the sun and a good book was a perfect relaxation technique!
Today I practiced self-care by waking up early to take my dog for a big walk as the sun was shining. I feel amazing when I start my day this way!
Today I practiced self care by going for a walk and doing some deadlifts
Love this thread! Today I practiced self care by working out during sunrise and then made myself an iced protein coffee
Today I practised self-care by making myself a cup of coffee before studying. I tried oat milk to make this latte and it tasted good 😉
What a great thread! Today I practised self-care by allowing myself to not be productive and veg out on the couch in my pyjamas! 🙂
Today I practiced self-care by playing some chill music, lighting a candle and watching bit of TV after I got back from work and uni.

This is a fantastic Idea JanaG! Taking care of yourself is the most important part of maintaining and managing your wellbeing. Personally, painting gives me the utmost happiness- it's my way of self-care.
Today I practiced self care by listening to an audiobook. 🙂
Today I woke up and the first thing I did was meditate. Taking 10 minutes out of my morning to be present with my thoughts, enhances my productivity and memory for the day.

Today I practised self care by letting myself sleep in after staying up until 2am to finish an assignment so I could take the day off!
