Hello people of RO
I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
Thought i'd jump on the bandwagon. sometimes technology just makes my head hurt/eyes dry and overall not feeling good. so today's self-care was taking a walk with my partner and enjoying some nice, cold air 🙂 rather than mellowing at home the whole day
I try to practice a small self care task daily. It can be anything from enjoying my favourite food or cleansing my face. I love making the conscious choice to do something just for me every day. 🙂
I practiced self-care today by letting myself sleep in just a little longer than usual I woke up feeling a little sick and let my body get the rest it needed
Today I practiced self care by practicing my morning routine which involves writing in a journal, taking my dog for a walk and doing some light yoga and stretches focused on breathing!

Today I practised self-care by sleeping in, checking off things on my to do list and relax and watch a TV show at night. I shall sleep early tonight for work tomorrow

Today I practiced self care by having a healthy (and delicious) lunch with protein and fresh vegies and complex carbs.
Loving all of these! Today I practiced self care by putting my phone away and enjoyed eating my lunch outside watching the birds in the big gumtrees near our house 🙂 @Mayour I'm a huge believer in a huge, restorative sleep when times are tough! What podcasts are you listening to at the moment?
Last night I practised self-care when I was feeling a little stressed by going to bed early and listening to some funny podcasts, rather than trying to continue to work. Getting a hearty, relaxing sleep when things are feeling intense can be a massive help:)

Today I practiced self care by making sure I had a good, balanced breakfast to start the day 🙂
Waking up early and getting outside and exercising in the morning!
Today I practiced self-care by going for a long morning walk and listening to my favourite song on repeat to take a time out from homework and just destress to reset my mindset before approaching the rest of my day.

Today, I practiced self care by using my diary to plan my week
Today I practiced self care by having a shower and eating in the morning instead of forgetting to do so until super late
Today I practiced self care by walking to the park to sit in the sunshine and read a book.
Today I practiced self care by watching my favourite TV show after I got home from work!
