I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
What an excellent thread with so many great ideas. Today I practiced self-care by going for a walk and listening to a podcast - double self-care! It was really good to stretch my legs on a walk after sitting at a desk all day and listen to a really interesting podcast that helped take my mind off work and wind down.
Today I practiced self-care by going for a walk and having a nice cup of peppermint tea!
Today I practiced self care by eating healthy food and having enough breaks between my studies to draw and browse internet, etc. Especially considering its R U OK? day today, I had many conversations with my friends and families throughout the day 🙂
Self care is SO important for well-being! Today, I practised self care by recognising when I couldn't focus on studying anymore so I made myself a hot cup of tea and sat in a sunny spot in the garden for a while.

Today I practiced self care by adjusting my to do list to make it more realistic of my time. While I want to fit more into my day, I know that today it just isn't going to happen and that's okay
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from studying and running a long hot bubble bath, so refreshing!
Today I practiced self care by taking part in a yoga flow and going for a walk. Helps to take my mind of lockdown and covid-19.
Hi all
Today I practised self care by doing some reading and meditating. Have recently started using an app for guided meditation which has improved my technique substantially after doing it myself for two years. Turns out I wasn't nearly as good as I thought.. Im reading 12 rules for life by Dr. Jordan Peterson, heavy ready but has some fantastic insights.

Today I practiced self care by colouring in my new colouring book and I went for a nice long walk around the gardens near my house. I also indulged in a mini lemon tart and a matcha latte (my favourite)

Today I did something similar - I have been doing a lot of studies lately so treated myself to a nice walk, some music and a favourite meal - spicey pasta!
@Janine-RO @Abderian I think we are all on the same page! Today I practiced self-care by spending time outside in the sun during my lunch break and making the most of the first day of Spring woo hoo!
Today I practiced self care by having a walk in the sun on my lunch break, and taking the time to notice all of the new flowers in bloom.
Today, I practised self-care by listening to music, and I also walked outside to bask in the sun
